Pursuing creative expressions of devotion

to Christ through music and visual art.

about

I’ve been leading worship for more than two decades, and in that time I’ve had the opportunity to serve in a lot of different kinds of places—from Liberty University and Life.Church to small churches, church plants, and most recently Grace Church in Minnesota. I’ve led in rooms with thousands of people and rooms with only a handful. Somewhere along the way, I became convinced that the size of the room really doesn’t matter that much. I just want to help people sing what is true about God and find words for what they’re carrying.

Creatively, I’ve never known how to stay in just one lane. Alongside music, I’ve spent much of my life working in film, video production, graphic design, and storytelling. I love the intersection of music and image—how a lyric, a melody, a photograph, or a few seconds of film can communicate something that’s difficult to put into words.

More than anything, I’m a husband and a dad. My wife, Ashley, and I have four kids—Izzy, Nora, Jackson, and Charlotte—and they are a much bigger part of who I am than anything I’ve ever made or any stage I’ve ever stood on.

I’m still writing. Still creating. Still learning. And after all these years, I think the thing I want to do is actually pretty simple: tell the truth beautifully, and point people toward the God who has been faithful in every part of my story.
